CDA is proud to announce 1st place at the 2008 Victorian Salsa Championships held in Melbourne at the Northcote Town Hall .

The team was a mixture of students and teachers comprising: Maxine Buxton, Belinda Recinella, Simon Basile, Kevin St Mart, Ashley Devine, Melinda Webb, Gene Segura & TeeJay - With Special mentions to Christine Monneron, Carlos Lopez, Tania De Silva, Izzy Washington, Chi-Hao La & Tony Cicuto.

Their winning performance was choreographed by Belinda Kevin & Carlos to the ROCKY theme. AND DID THEY THROW THAT KNOCKOUT PUNCH - IT ROCKED. The best group performance CDA has done to date. We now go to SYDNEY for the National Championships in August where we come up against some of the best teams in Australia. 

This was a superb follow up to 2006 where we came 1st place in the Rueda Section at the Australian National Salsa Championships held in Sydney September 8th - 10th 2006, performed to Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal".
